The Writing Catalogue

I hate spam because it is annoying to get pawed in your inbox regularly by some random cat. This cat promises to never spam you. You will receive a newsletter once a week! You will also get contest links to writing contests and post updates.

This is a cat announcing a newsletter

If you want to signup to a vocabulary, literature and history themed monthly newsletter informing you about the exciting things happening on this blog/anthology, subscribe to this e-catalogue below. I promise you, I will never sell you anything. No spam. No ‘buy my book.’ Just one email each month sharing an unconditional love for language, writing, reading, history, culture, and community.

This is the title of the mini checklist

This 9 page checklist is for those of you who want to write a book but are somehow not writing the book due to self-doubt, fear of failure or lack of information.

I want to tell you that you can write a book because everyone has a story to tell. I will tell you this as long as you want me to. You have to trust yourself. You also need to embody the spirit of Florence Foster Jenkins (who said this for singing) and say out loud, “People may say I couldn’t write, but no one can ever say I didn’t write.” Don’t let the fear stop you.

As far as lack of information goes, I can definitely help there. You can do a deep dive on the individual pointers but then these are the basic things you need to do.

In this checklist, you get four lists:

  • The writing checklist
  • The first-to-final draft checklist
  • The editing checklist
  • The publishing checklist
